The SGAN-Next consortium includes partners from all the added value chain from raw material, MMIC foundries to equipment and satellite manufacturers, fostered by universities to achieve excellence in components RF design.
This inter-disciplinary approach is necessary to meet project objectives by close cooperation between research and industrial partners to improve every step in the technology levels. Collaboration between industrial (UMS), research foundries (FBH) and epitaxy manufacturer (SweGaN) is one of the key project elements to maximize performance, followed by proper RF design techniques at MMIC and equipment level (SENER, UNIBO, UAB) to meet end customer requirements from satellite prime contractors (TAS and ADS).
